9 August 2015 #jukesiejobs

Seems like it was a week for the big jobs this week – and it was all a bit London focused but interesting to see that the Co-op are building a new digital team the same week Mike Bracken announces he is going there – nice strap-line as well “Open. Agile. Digital. Co-operative” 🙂

Looks like the Service Manager roles so integral to the GDS process have had a bit of a branding upgrade with two Service Director roles advertised this week – the Register to Vote product is brilliant and already a great success but the Borders stuff sounds fascinating.

Digital preservation is just going to become more and more important and an opportunity to do that at the National Archives really shouldn’t be missed – and not just for the lovely location.

The jobs at Girl Hub and GOSH both offer an opportunity to be a part of something really important – if you are looking for ‘tech for good’ look no further and doing data science at Nesta seems like somebodies dream job – it has to be said data science seems like the hot ticket these days, so many great roles.

If we are talking dream jobs then working for the Wikimedia Foundation doing their digital comms – well it is safe to say that in different circumstances my application would already be in.

As for the jobs at the RCA and Westminster Council they just simply sounded interesting.
